The Michael Harmsworth has now been transfered through to Wick, the boat has been powerwashed and is now ready for work to commence. The wheelhouse has been removed.  It is hoped she will be ready for the start of the boating season in April / May.

The Hull and Deck has now been sanded down and is ready for undercoat.

The boat will be painted in oxford blue, red rubbing strake and grey decks.

    Forward locker has been constructed and fibreglassed in place

    When completed we will bolt on plates with our bollard fore and aft

    The diesel tank has been cleaned and is ready for paint. It will be postioned in the aft storage compartment.

    The rudder is complete and fitted. A new skeg will be fitted once the engine and shaft have been alinged and the propeller have been fitted.

    Once we have the shaft in place we can fit the engine and all piping for fuel, coolant etc.

    Next we can fit the electric's and the manual and auto bilge pumps.

    The mast has been undercoated and ready for paint and fittment of brackets for the rader reflector, lights and vhf antenna. 

    A test fit of the engine, the engine beds will need to be modified before final fittment.

Work is ongoing fitting the Engine controls, morse cables, Engine electrics and the Engine housing.

The mast is complete with Radar reflector, White light and VHF bracket.
