6 Cadets and 5 adult staff enjoyed a camping trip this weekend, 29th- 30th September.
We set off from Ulbster at approx 10:30 am. Our destination was our campsite at Loch Yarrows.
En-route the cadets had the chance to put into practice their map reading skills.
We also visited various Cairns all the way.
The cadets then set up camp and constructed a fire and began to prepare their meals.
The evening was enjoyed sitting around the camp fire telling stories and jokes.
On Sunday morning we struck camp and headed up Yarrows Hill before returning to the unit and well earned bath.
All 6 cadets qualified for their basic campcraft badge, WELL DONE.
